Here at Upton Country Park we’re always looking for new opportunities to entertain our visitors and welcome the submission of any business proposals or ideas. Large or small, for the young or old, in summer or winter, we’re keen to pro-actively work with new and existing on-site partners and concessionaires.

We are currently looking for organisers of large events to work with us on Food and Music festivals, Car shows and other family entertainment.

We offer
One of Poole’s largest, most popular open spaces boasting:
- Over 160 acres of open parkland, woodland, shoreline and formal gardens.
- Open daily 8am-9pm in summer season (8am-6pm in winter)

The Sites
Four main sites are available (marked A-
If trials are successful then Leases for 2-7 years can be explored.
In addition Upton House, the Front Lawn and Walled Garden are also available to hire for large and small events.
Site A | prime position | approx 1,400 sq.m.
- A flat and well drained site
- Approx. 1,400 sq. meters
- Combination of grass and gravel surface
- Available for opportunities from March – December
- Includes electric and water supply (limitations apply)
- Includes empty and defunct animal enclosures and pens. All Grade II* listed.
- Positioned in the prime and busiest part of the Country Park for footfall due to proximity to Tea Rooms, toilets and other onsite concessionaires
- Area is suitable to outdoor/ all weather opportunities
- Event application and Legal Licence is required
Site B | rough grass | over 3,000 sq.m.
- Over 3,000 sq. meters of rough grass
- Natural setting – ideal for adventurous outdoor play or physical activity
- Available May – October
- Adjacent to front lawn where ball games are permitted
- Area is suited to outdoor/all weather opportunities
- Contains a natural spring and 2 small ditches with bridges
- Large trees and hedgerows provide natural cover and canopy
- Adjacent to farmland with grazing cattle
- No overnight camping or fireworks permitted
- Electric and water supply possible
- Booking Form required
- Hire starts from £50 a day
Site C | grassed lawn | over 2,500 sq.m.
- Over 2,500 sq. meters of grassed lawn
- Slight elevation – not flat surface
- Located close to and visible from the main drive
- Contains several trees
- Electric supply possible
- Adjacent to front lawn where ball games are permitted
- Area is suitable to outdoor/ all weather opportunities
- Temporary Permission Agreement required
- No overnight storage facility
Site D | enclosed dog training area
- Hire is for dog related activities only and you need to be an accredited dog trainer to book this area
- Available for bookings only between 19:00 – 20:00 on weekdays, and between 11:00 – 12:00 on weekends
- Accessed mainly via the car park on Poole Road (see our Park Map)
- No storage permitted; no power or water supply available
- Booking Form required
- Hire from £17.50 per hour

Please Note
- Upton Country Park is protected under English Heritage Law and categorised as Grade II* listed – meaning no permanent fittings/adaptations can be made to any areas
- Legal Fees may apply for some areas
- Overnight storage is not usually possible
- Any deliveries or unloading of vehicles need to be completed by 10am daily
- All promotions must be agreed with Upton Country Park. Due to our location in a Conservation area on-site promotional material can only appear in designated Noticeboards and Event Banners.
