Public Health update
We are monitoring Public Health and Government advice on Coronavirus (COVID-19) daily. The Country Park remains open. If this position changes we will notify here and on our Facebook page providing as much notice as possible.
The Tea Rooms, the Gallery Upstairs and Upton House Kiosk are all closed until further notice. The mobile ‘Pod in the Park’ is in operation and can be found adjacent to the new Spurrier’s Play Park, providing a takeaway refreshments service only. Please be mindful of social distancing when queueing, we closely monitor and review on a continuous basis keeping staff and customers safe.
With huge regret all events are cancelled until 31st May 2020, including parkrun events. We have contacted ticket holders for Easter Events organised by Upton Country Park. Larger events where possible will be postponed until later in the year – we ask for queries to be directed towards Event Organisers through their websites and Facebook Pages:
- Upton House Concerts (22nd-24th May) please visit www.uptonhouseconcerts.com or www.facebook.com/uptonhouseconcerts
- Upton Country Park Festival (10th & 11th July) as at 19th March is scheduled to go ahead, with organisers monitoring the situation – updates at www.facebook.com/uptoncountryparkfestival
The Country Park is equipped with handwashing facilities in the main car park and the Tea Rooms courtyard. In addition to following the NHS guidelines around preventing the spread of COVID-19, we are promoting good hygiene and our teams are being extra vigilant, especially in busy areas. We would also like to encourage people where possible to use contactless card payments.
If you have a fever or persistent new cough we ask that you delay your visit. If this applies to you or your group, and you already have a booking at Upton House, please contact us on 01202 262753
We thank you for your understanding
