Christmas at Upton Country Park
UPDATE 7th December
We’ve created two outdoor Christmas trails for you to enjoy; with maps/activity sheets to download to guide you along. Start outside The Cabin (near the Tea Rooms) and choose to follow:
- Our ‘Elfy Trail, which is designed to work off that excitable Christmas energy! It comprises 12 ‘exercise stations’ on a route that takes you around Llewellin Wood. Stations are signed, each one suggesting an exercise to complete – there’s a map and fun questions to download, plus videos demonstrating how to perform the exercises; you’ll find them at uptoncountrypark.com/elf/
- The Christmas Trail, which follows a simple route around the newest part of the Country Park. It’s a fun learning circuit, with 12 trail boards that will test your knowledge and observational skills. Each board relates to questions on our very jolly leaflet, which includes a trail map and even some activities to enjoy at home – download the PDF now and start planning your next visit!
It is with heavy hearts that we confirm we are unable to host Santa in the woodland grotto at Upton Country Park this Christmas.
It has always been a very popular event with families and, while we have tried to proceed as best we can within Covid guidelines, our top priority is the safety and wellbeing of all our visitors; it is for that reason that we cannot welcome Father Christmas in 2020.
The beauty of Upton Country Park is our extensive open space so we will be creating an Outdoor Christmas Trail providing festive fun for visitors of all ages to come and enjoy. Our free-of-charge Christmas-themed activity leaflet will be available to download from this website for the duration of the Christmas break.
