Car Parks now open!

13 May, 2020

In line with recent government guidance, we re-opened our main gates and car parks today, 13th May. We ask that all visitors remain alert and respectful of social distancing, keeping a minimum of 2 metres apart.

We’re extremely pleased to be able to welcome you back! You’ll see some changes at the Pay & Display Machines (card payment only) and toilet area in the main car park; please adhere to the 2 metre markers and any direction our team may give you. Please follow normal Park signage and guidance on picnicking, dog walking and cycling.

We’re now working hard to re-open our ‘Pod in the Park’ mobile catering unit, and simple refreshments will be safely available from Saturday 16th May 2020. This will be a cashless facility – payment by card only.

Car Park season tickets can be displayed as normal; guidance on new or expired tickets can be found at Car Parking & Annual Season Tickets.

The popular Dog Wash area is also now open – the area is unmanned and we ask you to please queue responsibly, maintaining social distancing and following signage supplied.

Please note there is still no access to:

  • The Tea Rooms and Gallery Upstairs
  • Toilet facilities in the courtyard near the Tea Rooms
  • Spurrier’s Play Park
  • The Walled Garden, borders and splash fountain
  • Upton House and Kiosk

If you have a fever or persistent new cough we ask that you delay your visit. Please follow the NHS guidelines around preventing the spread of COVID-19; we are continuing to promote good hygiene and our teams are being extra vigilant.
