Upton House is licensed to host both formal and informal functions such as fund-raising dinners, public speaking events, funeral receptions, music recitals and birthday and anniversary parties.

Hire packages & rates

For these occasions you will have exclusive use of up to five of the House’s state rooms - the Drawing Room, Morning Room, Dining Room, Study and the Library.  Three rooms overlook the grounds at the rear of the House and give direct access to the terrace.

Prices quoted are inclusive of VAT

You can book your function up to a year in advance.

The Walled Garden is also available to hire for private parties & functions:

Please be aware the finish time for your function, either inside the House or outside in a Marquee, must be no later than 12:00 midnight.

Additional staff time £28.00 per hour, £45.00 after midnight per member of staff.

Prices quoted cover the hire of indoor / outdoor space only. Catering not included.

The Walled Garden is available for hire from 1st May to 30th September.

It provides all the infrastructure you need and a stunning, tropical backdrop for your event.

Exclusive use of the Walled Garden and Terrace is offered:

• From 8.00am - midnight on the day of your event, and
• From 5.00pm - midnight the day before and after your event.

Please note, access to the lower garden is available outside of the hours above on the day before & after your event, but the upper garden and Terrace is open to the public between 9am - 5pm.

Please note if erecting a temporary structure - for example a marquee or staging - the exclusive hire fee above allows for one day set-up and one day de-rig either side.
